Need a Commitment?
Dear Member,
Since day one on the A.A. calendar the basic fundamental of Alcoholics Anonymous has been one alcoholic helping another. How many times have we heard, “Hey, how do I get involved in leading a meeting in a Hospital, or Jail, what about speaking in a school.” Well, that’s what this web page is all about, giving members all over Rockland County the opportunity to do service outside of the group level. From leading a meeting in an institution or delivering A.A. literature to a local library with the Public Information Committee, we stay sober doing Twelfth-Step work.
All information is kept confidential. You’re not obligating yourself to anything by submitting the form. The committee concerned will contact you with more details.

"These services, whether performed by individuals, groups, areas, or A.A. as a whole, are utterly vital to our existence and growth. Nor can we make A.A. more simple by abolishing such services. We would only be asking for complication and confusion. Concerning any given service, we therefore pose but one question: “Is this service really needed?” If it is, then maintain it we must, or fail in our mission to those who need and seek A.A."
